Can you use a marble board for cutting food? +

Our stone boards are designed as serving boards — ideal for presenting cheese, charcuterie, bread, fruit and antipasto. We don't recommend using them as cutting boards as knives will scratch the surface and dull your blades.

Are the boards food safe? +

Yes. Natural stone is non-porous once sealed and completely food safe. We recommend sealing your board with a food-safe stone sealer before first use, and re-sealing annually.

What size are the boards? +

All our standard boards are 300mm × 200mm × 20mm with a carved handle. They're a great size for entertaining — compact enough to style on a table, large enough to host a full cheese spread.

Do the boards come in different stones? +

Yes — each board is cut from a different slab of natural stone. We carry Teal Marble, Green Onyx, Carrara Marble, Nero Marquina, Emerald Vein and more. Every piece has unique veining, making it entirely one of one.
