and care.

Will this basin fit my existing vanity and plumbing? +

Vessel basins sit on top of your vanity rather than being recessed into it, and pair with a vessel-height (tall) tap mounted on the counter or wall. Most standard vanities and waste fittings work fine, but tap height and clearance vary — send James your vanity dimensions and current tap setup before you order and he'll confirm it's a fit.

Do I need a plumber to install it? +

Yes — we recommend a licensed plumber connect the waste and tap. The basin itself simply sits on your vanity surface, bedded with a marine-grade silicone sealant; no cutting or drilling of the stone is required.

Does the basin come with a tap hole or overflow? +

No — like most vessel basins, ours are supplied without a pre-drilled tap hole or overflow, designed to pair with a tall vessel-mounted tap rather than a deck-mounted one. If you need a specific configuration, ask James before ordering.

Do I need to seal or care for the stone? +

Yes. Like our tables and boards, vessel basins are natural stone and should be sealed before first use and re-sealed periodically to protect against staining and water absorption — the same care as a stone benchtop. Full care instructions come with every basin.
