Stone & Quality

Every Prime Piece is carved from natural stone — sourced from Italy and Spain and selected for character, movement and rarity. No two slabs are the same. What you see in the photos is a representation of the stone variety; your piece will carry its own unique veining and pattern.

Stone is a natural material. Minor variations in colour, tone and veining are not imperfections — they're what make each piece one of one. We photograph every piece before delivery so you know exactly what you're getting.

How to Order

There's no cart, no checkout. Every Prime Piece is a conversation — you reach out, we talk through what you're after, and we get to work. It takes five minutes and means every piece is made right for your space.

Step 1 — Enquire. Email or call James directly. Tell us what you're after — piece type, stone, sizing, finish.
Step 2 — Quote & confirm. We'll come back with a quote and timeline. Once confirmed, fabrication begins.
Step 3 — Fabrication. Your piece is cut, finished and assembled by hand in our Auckland workshop. 4–8 weeks.
Step 4 — Delivery. We arrange pickup or delivery personally. You'll see photos before it leaves us.

Delivery & Pickup

Stone is heavy. We take delivery seriously — every piece is wrapped and handled carefully from workshop to door. We work with you directly to arrange a time that suits.

Caring for Stone

Natural stone is built to last generations. A little care goes a long way to keeping your piece looking exactly as it did the day it arrived.

Clean with a damp cloth and mild soap. Avoid harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners.
Seal marble annually — we recommend a quality stone sealer to protect against staining.
Wipe spills immediately — especially acidic liquids like wine, coffee or citrus on marble.
Use coasters and mats under items on polished surfaces to avoid scratching.
Basalt and granite are more forgiving — highly durable and resistant to everyday wear.
